On the morning of March 24th, Li Lingshen, the vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, Li Guimei, the president of the China Industrial Textile Association (hereinafter referred to as "CITA"), and Vice President Ji Jianbing, along with their delegations, visited Foshan Qisheng Hygiene Products Co., Ltd., Foshan Jiabang New Materials Co., Ltd., and Foshan Baiying Nonwoven Fabric Co., Ltd. They also held a symposium for the responsible persons of women's and infants' hygiene product enterprises to understand the production and operation conditions of these enterprises, as well as their practices in product innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and green and low-carbon transformation. In particular, they learned about the impact of the significant fluctuations in raw material prices on the production and operation of these enterprises and their main responses.
Deng Shangkun, the vice-chairman of the People's Congress of Xiqiao Town, and Du Xiaolong, the vice-chairman of the Xiqiao Hygiene Products Industry Association, introduced the current situation and future plans of the Xiqiao hygiene products industry. Currently, the Xiqiao hygiene products industry exhibits characteristics of large-scale and concentrated development. Its technological innovation capabilities are constantly improving, the industrial supporting system is continuously being perfected, the leading role of龍頭企業(yè) is obvious， the fiscal contribution is steadily increasing. In the future， it will focus on the big health industry to strengthen precise investment promotion and industrial services， and promote the upgrading of the industrial system.
President Li Guimei, in light of the current development trends in the industry, conducted a thorough analysis of the opportunities and challenges faced by the women's and infant hygiene textile industry. She pointed out that the current industry is encountering multiple tests such as structural imbalance, intensified "internal competition", increasing trade barriers, and an urgent need for green transformation. Facing the new stage of development in the "15th Five-Year Plan", she suggested that the Westqiao hygiene products industry should focus on strengthening technological innovation, promoting the transformation of traditional markets towards higher-end and differentiated directions; deeply exploring emerging fields such as health care and elderly products to expand development space; accelerating the pace of green and low-carbon transformation, practicing the concept of sustainable development; optimizing the industrial layout, cultivating and expanding high-quality enterprises, actively embracing digital transformation, and using innovation to reshape the core competitiveness of the industry.
In his closing speech, Li Lingshen highly praised the development of the textile industry for women and infants in Xiqiao. He stated that Xiqiao has a solid industrial foundation, high levels of standardization management, and abundant development potential. He hopes that the local area will continue to strengthen technological innovation-driven efforts, improve the industry standard system, accelerate the transformation of the industry towards higher-end, intelligent, and green development, and continuously consolidate and enhance the regional brand influence, contributing to the high-quality development of the national textile industry for women and infants.
